Drew joined Millbury Federal Credit Union in February of 2014. He manages the day-to-day collections of the consumer and mortgage portfolios. He also is responsible for updating policies and procedures and credit bureau reporting; he oversees the overdraft protection for all checking accounts; Drew also handles all Bankruptcies, Foreclosures, Repossessions, and month end/quarter end reporting. He also serves as the point person for the Loans Department on the IT Steering Committee. Although Drew graduated from Franklin Pierce University in 2000 with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, his career has taken him through the Collections/Loss Mitigation/Banking industry since his first job with Associated Credit Services in 2002. He has a total of 19+ years of Collections experience between his time as a 3rd party debt collector and his time in the Collections Departments at Digital Federal Credit Union and currently at Millbury Federal Credit Union.
Karen has been a part of NEAMA for several years and brings with her 15+ years of collections and banking experience. Her career began in 3rd party Telecom and Student Lending collections at EOSCCA where she quickly advanced into a management position. In 2013 Karen moved on from 3rd party collections and began perfecting her knowledge and skills of loss mitigations and negotiations for consumer and mortgage lending at Liberty Bay Credit Union. Later, she joined Pawtucket Credit Union as the Collections Manager, successfully leading the collections team through the COVID-19 pandemic with remarkably low delinquency each month. In April 2021, Karen accepted the role of Assistant Vice President of Collections at Home Loan Investment Bank, then quickly promoted to Vice President during her first year with the bank. Her industry knowledge and leadership skills have driven the bank to record breaking low delinquency results. Karen is a Magna Cum Laude graduate from Southern New Hampshire University, earning her BS Business Administration with a concentration in Nonprofit Management. Karen also serves as the Treasure of the Board of Directors for the Beacon Charter Schools in Woonsocket, RI.
Jackie joined Eastern Bank in July of 2022 with a focus in Loss Mitigation and Customer Experience. Prior to her landing at Eastern Bank she spent 6 years at UniBank for Savings as a Collector I, Collector III, Lead Collector, with her last title being Collections Supervisor. During her Collections career she has worked on both Early and Late Stage Accounts, Fannie Mae/FreddieMac Servicing, Foreclosures, Repossessions, Credit Bureau Reporting and Disputes, Overdraft Recovery, and Monitoring and Producing Procedures. In March of 2020 Jacquelyn managed a key System Conversion Project for the Collections Group at UniBank, which rolled-out a new Core System and Collections System for her team. She is a former Intranet Author and Event Committee Member at UniBank, and is a current Notary Public. Jackie graduated from Keene State College in 2011 with a degree in Communications and a Minor in Philosophy. She is excited for the accomplishments, learning opportunities, and future responsibilities she will obtain at Eastern Bank in her new role as Loss Mitigation Analyst.
Jason joined Greenwood Credit Union in February 2019. He manages the Collections Department and oversees the Foreclosure, Repossession, Bankruptcy, Compliance, Auditing, Credit Bureau Reporting, Loss Mitigation, and the collection system maintenance. He also serves on the IT Steering Committee. Previously Jason was the 1st VP-Retail Lending at Coastway Community Bank. Jason has 21 years of experience in the loan origination, loan servicing, and loan collection areas. Jason is a graduate of Providence College, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Accountancy. Notable honors include CCAP’s Partner in Philanthropy in 2015. Jason actively serves on the Board of Directors and the Finance Committee for the Westbay Community Action in Warwick, RI.
A Boston native, Brian joined Lee & Mason Financial in February 2021 with over 8 years of account management and sales experience. In Brian’s role, he is responsible for the retention and growth of the New England territory. Prior to joining Lee & Mason, Brian was a Senior Consultant for a national employee benefits insurance brokerage that specializes in health and welfare programs for employers and their employees. His primary roles included managing clients’ benefit plans as well as direct and indirect sales channels for new clients. Brian is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross with a degree in economics. He lives on the south shore of Massachusetts with his wife, Jen, and two-month-old daughter, Ava. He is an avid golfer and enjoys spending time and fishing in the New Hampshire lakes region.
Joseph Camillo is the managing partner of Brock and Scott’s Foreclosure and Default Servicing Practice Groups. Mr. Camillo has over 28 years of experience in the areas of Banking, Creditors’ Rights, Bankruptcy, Foreclosure, Real Estate, Litigation, Regulatory Compliance and Condominium Law, Mr. He is admitted to practice law in all state and federal courts in MA and NH, US District Court in VT as well as the US Court of Appeals for the 1st Circuit. Mr. Camillo earned his J.D. from the Massachusetts School of Law in 1994, and B.A. from St. Bonaventure University in 1989. He lectures extensively throughout the country on topics such as foreclosure, bankruptcy, eviction, and litigation. Mr. Camillo serves as Corporate Counsel to New England Adjustment Managers Association in addition to being a Conference Faculty Member of Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) and Real Estate Bar Association (REBA). Current Memberships include the American Legal and Financial Network (ALFN) US Financial Network (USFN), American Bankruptcy Institute, Real Estate Bar Association, Massachusetts/New Hampshire Bar Associations, American Liver Foundation/Leukemia & Lymphoma Society for which he has raised funds and awareness by participating and completing several marathons and Ironman endurance races
Christopher has over 30 years’ experience in Credit and Collections. Prior to joining Eastern Bank, he spent 10 years at UniBank and 18 years at Citizens Bank. Christopher is a graduate of Salve Regina University and the Consumer Bankers Association Graduate School of Retail Banking. He has been a member of New England Adjustment Managers Association since 2010. He currently resides in Providence, RI with his wife and family.
Gary accepted the position of Assistant Vice President, Collections Officer at North Shore Bank in late August of 2020. As the Collections Officer, he is responsible for Loss Mitigation for delinquent Residential Mortgages, Home Equity Lines, Consumer loans and SBA Loans, Bankruptcy Reporting and Management, Credit Dispute Resolution, Compliance, Collection Procedures and Policies, as well as the day-to-day operations. Gary has more than 8 years of experience in banking / 1st-party collections and over 12 years of experience in 3rd-party Debt Collections. Before his move to North Shore Bank, Gary held the position of Senior Collector for Cambridge Savings Bank and started his banking career as the Loan Collector for The Savings Bank in Wakefield, MA. Prior to Gary entering the banking industry, he was a Collections Manager and Senior Collector for Richard J. Boudreau & Associates, LLC. Gary has been a member of N.E.A.M.A. since 2014 and served as the President from 2019-2020.
Norm has been a member of the New England Adjustment Managers Association for over 33 years and has served as President for three terms. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience that has provided its members and board with substantial insight to this organization. Before retiring in April 2021, Norm worked at multiple financial institutions within credit and collections, most recently he was with The Lowell Five Cents Savings Bank for 11 years as a collections officer. Prior to Lowell he was at Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union for 19 years. Norm has proudly served his country as a member of the US Armed Forces and retired as Sargent 1st Class in 1995 after 21 years of service., His successful military career included two deployments to Germany as well a tour at Ft. Hood, TX. He worked in the Finance Corps before moving to the Chemical Corps. Norm is dedicated to all around him both professionally and personally and has been an asset to NEAMA.
Jose joined Taunton Federal Credit Union in May of 2016 as a Collections Officer. TFCU is located in Taunton, MA, and services the Southeastern New England region. He quickly worked his way up to Senior Collector and was recently promoted to Collections Supervisor. Jose is known to be conscientious and bold and is responsible for the day-to-day collection activity. He creates plans and strategies for collecting debts, oversees collection calls, repossessions, bankruptcies, foreclosures, and loss mitigations for the collections department. Jose has shown stability and growth, having come from Greenwood Credit Union, where he worked as a Senior Collector for 10+ years, He currently resides in Pawtucket, RI with his wife and family.
Elizabeth A. Lonardo, Esq. has been practicing in both the Rhode Island and Massachusetts state and federal courts since 2008 focusing her practice on creditors’ rights and insolvency law. She represents banks, credit unions and other lenders in foreclosures, bankruptcies, evictions, real estate title work and other matters. In addition, Elizabeth assists clients with compliance of state and federal rules and regulations.
Elizabeth is approved by the Rhode Island Superior Court to act as Court-appointed Receiver and Commissioner. She has served on the Local Rules Committee of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Rhode Island since 2012 and has been identified as a “Rising Star” in the Super Lawyers Magazine (Rhode Island and Massachusetts) in 2015-2018 and 2020-2021 in the area of Creditors Rights. Elizabeth was an adjunct professor in the Paralegal Studies Program at of Roger Williams University teaching Bankruptcy and Torts.
Elizabeth earned a B.S. degree from Roger Williams University and her J.D. degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law.
